Deep in the American South, Charlotte and Jonny have been best friends since they were nine. She’s Jewish, he’s Christian; he’s black, she’s white. Their differences intensify their connection, until sexual desire complicates everything in surprising, compulsive ways. An unexpected love story about where souls meet and the consequences of growing up.

Southeastern Premiere Production

The Mystery of Lox & Sex ran at Out Front Theatre Company February 1 – 18, 2018.

The cast was as follows: Donald McManus as Howard, Tiffany Morgan as Lucinda, Terrance Smith as Johnny, and Rachel Wansker as Charlotte.

Directed by Amber Bradshaw, the production crew was rounded out by Carly McMinn (Production Stage Manager), Justin Kalin (Assistant Director & Dramaturg), Eric Griffis (Costume Designer), Charles Swift (Lighting Designer), Cody Russell (Scenic Designer), and Troy Meyers (Property Design).
