Alex More has a story to tell. A struggling actor in L.A., he takes a job working in the Malibu basement of a beloved megastar. One day, the Lady Herself comes downstairs to play. It feels like real bonding in the basement, but will their relationship ever make it upstairs?
Buyer and Cellar ran at ART Station September 14 – 17, 2017 & at Out Front Theatre Company March 8 – 25, 2018 as a co-production.
The one person show starred Elliot Folds as Alex.
Paul Conroy was the Director of this production, with Brandon McGrue as the Production Stage Manager and Max Mattox as the Assistant Director and Standby. The rest of the production team was as follows: Kasie Slay (Costume Design), Charles Swift (Lighting Design), Michael Hildago (Set Design), Paul Conroy (Sound Design), and Justin Kalin (Dramaturg).
