When Peggy, a good Christian woman, hits her head on the sink and bleeds to death after tripping over her lover’s wooden legs in a motel room, chaos erupts in Winters, Texas.
Sordid Lives ran at Out Front Theatre Company May 3 – 20, 2018.
The cast was as follows: Jason-Jamal Ligon as Ty, Fracena Byrd as Sissy, Britny Horton as Latrelle, Brittani Minnieweather as LaVonda, TK Habtemariam as “Brother Boy,” Abby Holland as Bitsy Mae, Lisa Boyd as Noleta, Bert Lyons as G.W., Darrell D. Grant as Odell & Rev. Barnes, Jessica Maguire as Dr. Eve, and Wendy Melkonian as Juanita.
The Director was Jacob Demlow, with the production team being rounded out by: Alexander Squires (Production Stage Manager), Jay Reynolds (Costumer Designer), Charles Swift (Lighting Design), Nick Battaglia (Set & Props Designer), Brian Jordan (Wig Designer), and Justin Kalin (Dramaturg).
