The Santa Closet
December 11 - 13, 2020
by Jeffrey Solomon
When a little boy’s gender atypical gift request to the North Pole is denied, a series of heart-felt letters from the child nudge Santa Claus out of the closet, and into the culture wars and the scandal that has come to be known as ‘Santa-Gate’. The Santa Closet is a funny, sensitive and imaginative tale that pulls at the holiday heartstrings while asking the question “How do we speak honestly and openly to children, and each other, about LGBTQ+ lives and issues”?
This program is supported by the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs.
Directions to Out Front Theatre
Parking
Valet parking is available for $5. There is also street parking available. On Sundays, all street parking, including our parking lot, is free of charge. As always, we strongly encourage public transportation or ride share.
