Internships
Out Front Theatre Company’s internship program specializes in giving students and/or recent graduates experience in working for a 501c3 non-profit arts organization. Through OFTC’s internship program, you will be able to add professional credits to your resume, as well as learn about the process of a theatrical production and assisting in producing queer work.
Interns will have several opportunities to work on any number of our 5 productions during the season, including but not limited to: sound, lighting, costume construction, front of house management, set construction, dramaturgy, education programming, new work development, and community engagement.
The primary goal of an OFTC internship is to widen your horizons in regards to producing LGBTQIA+ work. You will be responsible for collaborating with a design team, attending rehearsals, researching appropriate materials, attending production meetings, and/or assisting with any other needs for the overall production(s).
