CURRENT AUDITION OPPORTUNITIES
Out Front Theatre Company is excited to invite you to audition for our 2025 – 2026 season production of 9 to 5, with book by Patricia Resnick and music and lyrics by Dolly Parton.
WHEN: Virtual auditions will be accepted through 11:59 PM on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025. In-person auditions will be held on Saturday, June 28th from 1:00 PM to 8:30 PM @ The Alliance Theatre.We encourage actors to consider hourly street parking nearby or using MARTA or Uber/Lyft as well as the Woodruff lot. Information on parking at the Woodruff Arts Center can be found here.
Callbacks will take place in-person @ The Alliance Theatre on June 29th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Please note that actors will not be held the entire callback. Specific times will be sent via email to those invited to callbacks.
WHERE: Please submit your audition form HERE. You will select either an in-person time or a virtual option.
WHAT TO PREPARE: Please prepare a 32-bar cut of a song from the show or in its style. Please bring appropriately marked sheet music. Accompaniment will be provided.
Audiences can always expect that Out Front will produce work that is by, for, and about queer stories and culture. Though we understand that there is no monolithic queer identity, we are committed to casting authentically and hope to empower all queer identifying performers, openly so or not, to submit themselves for consideration of roles that align with their lived experiences. We will never ask nor presume or assume identities but hope to provide meaningful performance opportunities for those who seldom see themselves on stage. We will treat performers with respect and discretion in hopes of empowering all who honor us by sharing their talents.
